Respect My Hair started off, simply, as an Instagram page dedicated to celebrating natural hair. Yet as we’ve grown, we wanted to connect with our audience on a level that transcends simply showing hair.

Our community is known for switching up our hair often. But there’s so much that goes into our appearance, and we’re so much more than just our hairstyles.

We are magical and our hair defies gravity. We are not only beautiful but complex and diverse.

With that in mind, we wanted to create a space that expands upon our crowning glory, our hair. We want to make room to talk about all of the different topics that matter to us. Things that affect our lifestyles and our existence as melanin dipped individuals. As a Female, Black-Owned business, we know that this is important.

Our mission is to create a community where we can chill, learn and discuss all of the things that are important to us. Our name is ‘Respect My Hair,’ but it’s more than just hair.
