If you have ever washed your hair with conditioner only, you have experience with co-washing. That’s a good thing because Conditioner is Bae! It leaves hair so soft, so smooth . On top of that, it makes the hair easier to manage and that saves time.

Many naturals have included co-washing into their hair routine as a substitute for shampoo. Now, don’t rush to throw out your shampoo just yet because you will still need it every now and then. To keep it simple, shampoo your hair when you don’t co-wash and co-wash your hair when you don’t shampoo.

Co-washing is gentler on our hair strands than shampoo. Curly hair tends to be drier than straight hair. Co-washing allows the hair to be cleansed without removing the oils that hair needs to minimize frizz and maintain moisture.
